Mod Podge "film" leaves.

Once upon a time I made glass clings with Mod Podge - and the world was good. But then my friend Pam came along and blew my little tutorial out of the water with her Mod Podge "film" leaves! They are essentially glass clings that she made with Mod Podge and food coloring - and they look just like real leaves. But they aren't real leaves, they are Mod Podge. Are you completely amazed yet? Of course you are. Now go visit Pam because I know you have to see how she did it.

Thank you, Amy! I am just catching up on my reader and found this post!! So i am late, late, late with my appreciation for the feature on Mod Podge Rocks.

I am so glad you included the link to your Glass Clings because the minute you mentioned you had made them, I thought about how well the finished film leaves stuck to the vase and the candle surfaces. Not as well as glass clings, but I can see that the clings would certainly work!

So - just wondering - having the experience of making the clings, do you think it could be done with the leaves? Or is the lead base a necessary component for making them stick to glass surfaces? They would be so pretty on windows. What so you think?
