This is one of the coolest furniture revamps I've ever seen. Using vintage engineering drawings from the 1800s, Wendy blew them up and fixed up an old kitchen table by decoupaging them to the top. I was so interested to read about how she did it, because she made the drawings blend into the wood so well. Let's say that some glaze and fancy Podgework were involved, and you just have to read it. Refurbish a table with stickers.

There is a misconception that re-doing a piece of furniture has to be difficult. There are some very simple ways to update pieces, like this table re-done with stickers and coated in Mod Podge Outdoor. All you need to do is sand your surface, spray paint it and then add some fun (large) nature stickers with Mod Podge to get the same effect. Just pick your favorite color, stickers and go for it!

For whatever reason, anatomy images in black and white remind me of Halloween. And I'm in full Halloween mode, so I'm noticing all kinds of projects that are and aren't related. This table was refurbished by Kate, and I love the gold paint combined with the anatomy photos and Mod Podge - the result being the perfect decoupaged coffee table that you can be proud to display in your living room. Chevron awesome night stand.

Have I told you lately that I love refinishing furniture with Mod Podge? You will not believe how easy it is, seriously. Tables (including end tables and night stands) are particularly my favorite because they are smaller than a regular table, so the refinishing is done faster.

I love Kari's chevron night stand re-do and I think you will as well. The addition of the felt flowers is fun and bright, which I appreciate. Her total cost for the revamp? Less than $18, and I can get behind that. Visit her to see how she did it.

Mod Podge map folding chair desks.

I love Mod Podge and maps together. I think the reason is because I have always like navigating, and if I go on a trip I want to be the navigator rather than the driver. I remember driving across the country before GPS and having an atlas as opposed to a phone to tell me where to go. It was kind of exciting!

I'm a huge fan of covering everything humanly possible with sewing patterns. One of my first projects was a pattern piece storage box. I'm impressed with this project because Jaime did an entire table! That takes a bit of technique, so if you are interested in pattern piecing something, start like I did. Pretty soon I am going to need a new desk, aka "the paper stacker." Are you one of those people who uses a desk for stacking papers? I've told myself that this next time will be different, and I'll use a desk for its intended purpose, so I'm sticking with it.

I love this particular dresser revamp for the paint job, but also for those cute little knobs, and of course for the drawer liner added with Mod Podge. I don't know if you remember the TV tray revamp from not so very long ago? Well, I have another treat for you! Fancy octopus table.

Hi all!! My name is Janel and I hide behind my blog Hating Martha . . . and Mustaches. I blog about DIY, crafting, recipes, and all sorts of fun things!

Stop by and say hi sometime. I love ModPodge! It is so useful in crafting and decorating. And I am so excited to be here! Here's an example of one of the great uses of Mod Podge…

See this sad, broken end table . . . some paint, old books, printed Octopus, and . . . Mod Podge turned it into this:

1. fix the table leg. Done!

2. Paint the table. I used a gorgeous sea blue. And in all honesty, I used spray paint. I know. But, it’s so easy!

3. Find an old dictionary and take out some of the pages.

4. Lather Mod Podge all over the top of the table. Watch that it doesn’t drip along the side.

5. Carefully place your pages on the top. Move quickly, making sure the pages are facing the direction you want and that they are only sticking to the top (not along the sides).

6. Carefully cut the ends of the pages off (I used a sharp craft knife).
7. Cover the top with Mod Podge.

8. Print out the Octopus of choice ( I found a black and white and printed it to several pages for a larger size) and cut it out.

9. Mod Podge the octopus to the top of the table. Watch that you have it placed properly.

10. After the Mod Podge has dried…”age” the table by brushing wood stain on and then rubbing it off. If desired…finish with a coat of Polyurethane and edge the top with hotglue and rope.

When I first saw the words "industrial work table" my first thought was "the fancy word for the table in the garage that has a layer of dirt and also everyone leaves their bike helmets and used coffee mugs on top of it." Turns out that an industrial work table has a unique shape and a strong form, and also happens to look fantastic with book pages Mod Podged on top. Is anyone else a huge fan of the nailhead look? I am, but I tried to do it on an MDF table and ended up with a broken table and sawdust. I'm sure I did something wrong. Storybook dresser.

When I was little, my grandmother started a Beatrix Potter music box collection for me. I loved them, and I used to read the books too. How did that little girl grow up into someone who loves Fast and the Furious? There's still a dainty little part of me though - a part that loves Benjamin Bunny and soft pastels. That part of me loves this dresser, and I really love the base color that Briana chose. The Beatrix Potter panels coordinate nicely. You definitely need to see the before, because Briana did an amazing job with this makeover.

Fabric covered drawer fronts.

I've seen this fabric before at Whipstitch and I absolutely love it. In fact, I used some coordinating fabric from the same collection in my upcoming book. Ann Marie revamped a dresser using this fancy fabric, and I love how it goes perfectly with her unique paint color. I also love the mismatched drawer handles. It's as if Ann Marie was thinking of me when she did it! Probably not, but even so, she did a great job. Visit her to see this dresser and the matching headboard revamp.
