thinkRSVP party printables giveaway.

Have you ever seen those shows about outrageous kids' parties? You know, with elephants and princes and cars and the parents spent over $30,000? I don't know about you, but I can't afford that (and if you can afford that, please e-mail me because I need help with student loans. Ha!). The money might be confusing, but I understand the desire to throw a cool party for your friends or kids. If I host a party, I want to make it nice looking.

My friend Kim started thinkRSVP to solve the problem of throwing a cute party on a budget. thinkRSVP offers printable party packages that include everything you'll need to decorate your next shindig - ranging from baby showers to birthdays to bridal (and more). Their packages include invitations, banners, labels, thank you cards and other printables appropriate for the big day. All you need is a printer! And you don't need $30,000.

Of course you can personalize the printables with names, dates and other information. The picture above is just a sampling - you can see all of their party packages here. I love this idea because not only do you get a package with everything to print (saving you a lot of money over buying everything separately), but you have a theme and a set of colors to help you finish off the party. Kim is brilliant, but I could have told you that.

Kim would love for you to try one of the packages for yourself, so she's giving away TWO today - I'm choosing two winners. You'll get the party pieces theme of your choice valued at $30. Just enter below. And next time you're having a party, don't forget to visit thinkRSVP for all of your printable party needs!

Goose Creek candles giveaway.

I'm a huge candle fan - I became an even huge-r candle fan when I recently moved into my loft and it smelled . . . strange. I can't remember if that's what happens when you first move into an apartment, but I wasn't pleased. The place was clean, but maybe it's that it's an open air loft that it smelled more like a warehouse. So when Goose Creek Candles sent me some of theirs to try, I was more than happy.

They sent me a few from their American Heirloom Collection - and as you can see from the photo above, I've already used the Dark Vanilla Bean quite extensively.

So what do I think? I love, love, love their candles. I can actually smell them and the smell lasts (this is one of my pet peeves of candles, when I can't smell them). They burn evenly, they don't smoke and they last a long time. I have burned the Dark Vanilla Bean for hours and hours and hours and it's still got 1/2 left. My entire apartment smells pleasant and the warehouse smell is gone. I love coming home after running errands because I can smell them right when I walk in the door. Another scent I highly recommend? Whipped Pumpkin Latte. This smells like the Starbucks drink and reminds me of fall. Did I mention I can't wait for fall.

If you are in the market for candles, definitely check out Goose Creek; you'll be hooked. They are nice enough to provide two things today to MPR readers:

1) A giveaway of two 16 oz. American Heirloom candles - two winners who will each get to choose their favorite scent. Just enter below!
2) A coupon code if you'd like to make a purchase - you can get 25% off by entering 0901 at checkout (this expires 9/30).

Candy Making For Kids review and giveaway.

Do you like candy? Of course you do! I have a huge sweet tooth, so when I found out that my friend Courtney from Pizzazzerie came out with a new book called Candy Making For Kids, I was thrilled. The interesting twist is given away by the title - the recipes are candy making (of course), but they are easy enough to do with children. You can have fun together and enjoy the fruits of your labor.

This book is full of easy-to-follow candy recipes for kids. There are more traditional recipes such as toffee and fudge, but there are also whimsical creations such as candy caterpillars and candy play-dough. These recipes are perfect for children's parties, holiday parties, packaging up for friends, or simply enjoying at home!

One thing that intrigues kids about cooking in general is making fun animals. How about these cute little caterpillars?

And candy you can wear is a blast as well. I love this take on the old candy necklaces (way cuter!).

Candy Making For Kids contains over 30 recipes to make with your little ones. It's a must have for your book collection! So, you can buy a copy - but you can also try to win one below. Enjoy!

Printrunner giveaway.

Attention bloggers and business owners! Or people who like to get stuff printed! I'm having a fun giveaway today, and I would love your participation. You are going to want to participate when you find out what the goods are.

PrintRunner is an online printing service that you should know about. I am a small business owner (my blog), and I know many of you are as well. We need printed materials, and we want them quickly and done well. And we DON'T want to go to one of those walk-in places - at least I don't. The last time I went in to a walk-in printer, I left feeling like I would have rather shoved bamboo sticks underneath my fingernails. The wait was long and after all that time, the prices were high AND quality was poor.

Not so with PrintRunner.

You can order so many things easily and from the convenience of your own home. The ordering process is completely painless and the quality is superb. I love their design tool (very easy to use) and I also love their guarantee. Not sure what my next purchase is, but I've been eyeing the stickers. I really want some with my blog logo.

No, I didn't forget - I'm having a giveaway of PrintRunner postcards today! You may want something with your blog or business name on it . . . or Etsy shop owners, how about some cute thank you cards to stick in your packages? And while we're at it, anyone can enter to win. Family postcards would be pretty cute for quick letters. You know I don't mind sticking pictures of my dogs on everything!

Just enter to win below. If you are the lucky one, you'll get 100 5 x 7 postcards, front printed on 14 pt paper and rounded corners. Nice, huh? A big thanks to PrintRunner for such a great giveaway. Now get entered so you can win!

Glitz from {styled} by Tori Spelling giveaway.

I'm a huge fan of the {styled} by Tori Spelling line of jewelry. I've gotten some samples to try and they are amazing. Seriously. I sometimes enjoying fiddling with my own jewelry, but for the most part I want to put it together quickly and without a lot of fuss.

{styled} is a DIY jewelry collection that makes it easy to create custom jewelry looks without tools or any previous jewelry-making experience. Today I'm giving away everything from the GLITZ line - all you need to make a bunch of different looks, including necklace tops, necklace bottoms, pendants, connectors, bracelet toggles and a bracelet link set, earring findings and danglers. You can mix and match to create all kinds of different jewelry pieces.

The Glitz line is a lot of silver and vintage inspired pieces. It's very classic and sophisticated, with rhinestones and black enamel. I like this line because it goes with a lot of my clothing, and I'm guessing it will with yours as well.

The line comes with necklace bottoms, toppers, connectors and brooches (among other things). You can easily connect these items:

A lovely necklace results.

And you can make more if you want to.

Here are some of my favorites - the brooches with a bracelet (several options included) and even earrings that you can mix and match. I know! This collection is amazing! You will be shocked at how beautiful it is and how easy it is to put together. And how much you want to wear it. Enter below - all you have to do is leave a comment.

DaisyDecals review and giveaway.

Meet DaisyDecals. I'm very excited to be doing this review and giveaway. Why? I absolutely LOVE these things! So what am I so excited about? DaisyDecals makes vinyl decals, but with a twist. I see a lot of decals out there in traditional patterns and fonts - while those are great, my style is a bit more modern . . . retro. And that is where DaisyDecals comes in. They have my favorite vinyl decal designs in the whole world. Seriously.

These decals are high quality, very strong and easy to apply. They come in so many fun designs and bright colors, and you can put them on nearly any smooth surface - computers, appliances, windows, notebooks and more.

How do I know so much about how great they are? Well, I tried one! Take a peek at my iPad above, with the retro TV decal. It's so cute! I have a clear plastic cover on the back, so this baby is going to last forever.

DaisyDecals is nice enough to be giving away TWO decals to MPR readers. Aren't they nice? You just have to let me know in the comments which is your favorite decal. DaisyDecals is going to give decals to two winners. My favorites are the Polaroid and the Viewmaster (I just bought them, yay!).

Here are the giveaway rules:

1. Comment on THIS blog entry. What is your favorite decal at DaisyDecals?
2. Only one entry per person. I will choose TWO winners at random.
3. Contest will close this Friday, April 20th at midnight (EST).
4. Winners will receive one decal of their choice.
5. This contest is open to international readers.
6. PLEASE leave your e-mail address if it's not attached in Blogger - I need some way to reach you.

ConiLab giveaway.

It was a few weeks ago that I saw this fun, modern print on Pinterest - and I immediately visited coniLab, the Etsy shop that it came from. It turns out that Coni doesn't just make this "we are a team" print . . . she makes tons of awesome prints! They are all designed and hand screenprinted by Coni herself, using acid-free paper and non-toxic ink. Her prints are of the highest quality and make great gifts (just in case you were already shopping for my half birthday present in July).

Coni has some awesome sentiments in her shop, for instance "my world is where you are" and "the most important things are not things." Her way of putting these words to paper is so interesting and unique, and I love her simple color palettes. They are so modern! I'm so excited to be giving away one of her prints today - another of my favorites - "do what you love, love what you do." It's an especially meaningful quote to me as I try to find a job.

Are you excited to win this print from coniLab? Of course you are! The rules for today are simple, and here they are:

1. Comment on THIS blog entry. What is your favorite print from coniLab?
2. Only one entry per person.
3. Contest will close this Friday, March 16th at midnight (EST).
4. Winner will receive one copy of Coni's "do what you love, love what you do" print.
5. PLEASE leave your e-mail address if it's not attached in Blogger - I need some way to reach you.

Hello!Lucky stationery giveaway.

Have you been to Hello!Lucky? They are a specialty letterpress printer and design studio and have been creating wedding invitations, greeting cards and personalized stationery since 2003. Hello!Lucky has over 300 designs and can even do affordable digital printing if you need. Their clients worldwide include Anthropologie, Kate's Paperie and Liberty of London.

To sum it up, their cards are GORGEOUS. I love the look of letterpress, and their cards are truly the prettiest I've seen. My favorite section of their site is the greeting cards, but they also have holiday, wedding, baby cards and more.  The site is great, and they even have a blog with (among other things) inspiration and DIY projects. Right now the blog is featuring some super cute free printable Valentine's cards.

Today I am giving away two sets of cards (the Year of Cheer and Year of Love packs, both pictured). Two winners will get one of the card packs (HL will decide which one you get). Again, that's TWO winners total. Here's how to enter:
  1. Visit the Hello!Lucky site, choose your favorite card and then let me know what it is in the comments.
  2. For an extra entry, like Hello!Lucky on Facebook.
  3. If you do #2, leave a separate comment.

JewelMint review and giveaway.

I'm having a great giveaway this week, just in time for the holidays. I'm so excited to introduce you to Jewelmint! Pretty lady and fashion icon Kate Bosworth and Hollywood’s stylist of the year, Cher Coulter have teamed up to bring you the ultimate in affordable luxury with their member-only jewelry club. And today, I get to give away some credits to their store. Yay!

You are probably wondering what Jewelmint is and how it works. The club is an online store that chooses styles for you based on your fashion personality profile. You take a short quiz upon (free) registration, and then you gain access to exclusive, handmade designer jewelry picked just for you. The best part is that it's all $29.99. If you buy cool jewelry, you know that this is a great deal for a handmade, designer piece. There are also limited amounts of each piece, so you are wearing something unique.

Curious as to what came up for me? Here's what was recommended, and I'm wondering if you think it fits my personality.
